Oddness/Weirdness

G-Dragon is a busy man.  He's got the release of his new album coming up, he's embarking on a solo tour soon, AND he's working on an mv for a new song.  The song is titled " MichiGO " (which is a pun on the words "crazy" and "go") and it will be debuted at his first concert in Seoul on March 30th.  You know this means the guy has been attending all kinds of shootings and rehearsals and he might even still be putting the finishing touches on his third album.  Craziness. As I was watching SHINee's Google+ Live Video Chat last night, I kept staring at Taemin's head and wondering if my eyes were deceiving me.  Did I see what I thought I saw?  

If you've followed this site for awhile, you're well aware that I usually fawn all over G-Dragon 's fashion, while not really paying attention to the other four members of Big Bang .  I do tend to think their airport style as a whole is relatively intriguing, even though there's usually at least one person wearing something that's just ok, if not downright scraggly (Yeah I'm talking about you,  Taeyang ).  Today, however, they all managed to capture my attention with the following airport style pics, which were taken on their way to Nanjing, China

GD & YB 's photoshoot from the March issue of Vogue Korea  was so epic that they had to make a bts video.  I'm certainly not complaining.

G-Dragon and Taeyang have taken to Instagram and Twitter to promote their pictorial in Vogue Korea's March issue.  This issue will be Vogue Korea's 200th issue so they celebrated with a hugely epic GD/YB editorial.  Want more?  Check out all the goodies here and here .

SHINee is about to comeback with " Dream Girl " so it's safe to assume we'll be seeing them in tons of magazines to come.  The first of these would be Nylon Korea , who made them look like stylish yet innocent boys next door, and then asked them some probing questions that they seemed to answer pretty honestly (especially Onew ).  Enjoy the HQ scans, BTS video and interview with English translation below.

SM Entertainment has so redeemed themselves after yesterday's " Dream Girl " teasers featuring Onew .  I didn't love those pics but I do love SHINee 's new group teasers.  Take a look at these fabulous boys, looking fresh to death in their nouveau baroque patterns, in those intriguing cuts and fits.   Onew ,  Taemin ,  Jonghyun ,  Minho  and  Key  are always ahead of the curve, fashion-wise.

On January 31st, the boys of Big Bang were on hand at the 22nd Seoul Music Awards to perform and accept due praise for all their tons of accomplishments last year.  I've got some videos for you and quite a few pics, plus I'll be discussing their fashion. Read on:

The people have spoken and they want their fashion posts, so here's a quick one about G-Dragon to start. On the last day of Big Bang's Alive Tour The Final concert, GD posted a few pre-concert pics to his twitter account:

I love Kpop fashion to death but a lot of it is pretty expensive, right?  Well my new series is all about stealing your biases' style without spending all of that hard earned cashola.  I'll be posting about where you can buy an item that's inexpensive or where you can get something similar for a lot cheaper. First up is SHINee' s Key :

In celebration of G-Dragon making music for Nicola Formicetti's MUGLER menswear fall/winter 2013 show , I've managed to hunt down all these gothic-fantastic photos of GD from Numero magazine in 2008.  You know it's a good photo shoot when it's still relevant 6 years later. These are such great shots of GD doing what he does best, in a Tim Burton sort of way.  Kind of like an avant garde Beetlejuice, which is a perfect homage to Lady Gaga's aesthetic.  After taking a look at this, be sure to click on over to G-Dragon's Vogue Korea 2009 editorial .  It's also very avant garde and it's been updated with a ton more pics that I found today + more.

Ok, woah... I've been looking for this jacket ever since G-Dragon's mv for "Crayon" came out and I finally found it all out of the blue.

I haven't done one of these in awhile, but that's because I haven't come across any older kpop fashion editorials that really struck my fancy in awhile.  Today, though, I happened to see this one and was immediately charmed. This Singles magazine editorial features f(x)'s Sulli and it was taken in October of 2011, and even though it was taken a year ago, the fashion is still timely and stylish.  I happen to think Sulli looks gorgeous here.  I hope you enjoy it, because I certainly did.

Seoul Fashion Week is over now but it was tons of fun while it lasted.  Unfortunately, as mentioned here , I was unable to blog yesterday but we're back in business today.  I did get to take a look at all kinds of great fashion shows this past week.  I also got to see SHINee's Key wield his sartorial magic quite a few times, which I love.  The last Key sighting was on October 25th, when he, Minho and some members of f(x) attended the Suecomma Bonnie shoe show.

I took a few days off from blogging but I've been keeping up with all the fashionable happenings at Seoul Fashion Week, so I found some more SHINee goodies for you to peruse. Key seems to be everywhere this Spring/Summer '13 Fashion Week and he even dragged Minho and some members of f(x) along with him for one of the shows.  First up, though, is Key all alone at the pushBUTTON show on October 24.

G-Dragon will be featured in the November 2012 issue of GQ Korea , where he'll be rocking some Ambush pieces.  If you remember correctly, GD collaborated with Ambush jewelry for their "Screw It" line.  He also ended up wearing quite a few Ambush pieces in the " Crayon " mv .  In the article GD mentioned that he would like to start his own fashion brand in the future, which I think would be a logical endeavor for him. So wayyy back in September, a commenter named Mirjam asked me if I could find the shirt G-Dragon was wearing on this 120930 Inkigayo performance :

As you might know already, G-Dragon is scheduled to appear on the October 19th episode of Yoo Hee Yeol's "Sketchbook", which is a live music and talk show that features three to four artists on each show.  The filming for the GD episode took place on the 9th of October and, of course, the competition to get in was fierce... I can just imagine.   There's quite a few images already floating around the net from this filming, showing G-Dragon looking fierce as hell in a very interesting outfit.  Check it out:

I think it's about time for another GD post up in here.  G-Dragon performed "Crayon" on SBS Inkigayo yesterday, looking cute as a button in his Wonder Woman robe.  I've got the performance for you below and, of course, some fashion finds.
