Big Bang is Still Killing It...

...and they haven't even released their album yet.  Craziness. I told myself yesterday that I was going to relax on the Big Bang posts for a bit because I was starting to feel like a Big Bang fansite, not that that's a bad thing.  THEN... they release something like this: "Bad Boy" teaser- Source:  BIGBANG

EXO Is Always At The Airport: A Fashion Retrospective

It's true.... The members of EXO-K and EXO-M are ALWAYS at the airport.  I'm never sure where they're going or what they're going to be doing when they get there, but I'm forever seeing the pics.  There's often some major fashion moments taking place in these pics; some good, some bad but always notable.  Enjoy: This post is image heavy

So You Were Wondering What EXO's "Wolf" & "Growl" Drama Version MVs Are About? Pt. 1

It has come to my attention that people are confused as hell about EXO 's " Wolf " and " Growl " drama version MVs, and have been since they came out.  Well, it's your lucky day, because I'm here to explain the shit out of them for you, in the way I know best: I'm going to tell you a little story.  Fyi, this will be done in two parts, so bear with me.

Seungri Makes A Sexy And Suave Comeback On M! Countdown 130822

Big Bang's Seungri has been bringing it recently, with today being no exception.  He held his first "Let's Talk About Love" album comeback stage on M! Countdown, performing "Gotta Talk To U" and "GG BE" and it was all flaw free.

seungri gotta talk to u m! countdown

Ok so I think his "Gotta Talk To U" stage was one of the better comeback stages of the year so far.  The setup reminded me very much of a 1920s speakeasy in an old time gangster movie, which I really enjoyed.  Everything from the suits and wingtips on the men to the lighting and sound was on point.

The only thing I didn't like was the way the camera people would cut away to the band or dancers while Seungri was doing something interesting.  I wish all the music show camera people would get it together.  I don't need to see people freaking out in the audience and I don't really need to see more than a few seconds of the band.  Long shots that focus on these two things only take away from my enjoyment of Seungri's (or whoever's) face and that is just not right at all.  I also dislike when they keep cutting back and forth to different cameras.  I want to see the whole performance, dammit, not just parts of it!

Ok... I'm calm now.

While the stage for "GG BE" was charming, as was RiRi's performance, it reminded me of a lower budget version of this GD & TOP performance of "Don't Leave":

Seungri's was still cute but come on YG, we know you can do better than that.

I'm also a bit disappointed that Jennie Kim didn't get to perform.  That would have definitely taken it to another level for me.

To sum it all up for you, I thought Seungri did an outstanding job today.  He looked confident, he looked calm and cool and he looked like a million bucks.  Let's not forget that he managed all that while singing live for the first time in awhile.

Full Scans + Interview From G-Dragon's Incredible Vogue Korea 17th Anniversary Editorial

Ok I knew that G-Dragon 's editorial for Vogue Korea's 17th Anniversary would be amazing but these kind of exceeded my expectations.  I am in awe of the depth and clarity of Hong Jang Hyun 's photographs and of the stylist's vision.  The makeup artists did a great job too.  I'm not saying I like them more than I like GD's 2009 Vogue Korea editorial but they come pretty close, especially the first photos, which I'm calling "G-Dragon in high fashion grunge Rivendell" (where the elves lived in Lord of the Rings ?  No?  Alright, I'll admit I'm kind of a nerd).  Scroll down for scans of all 32 images and the full interview translation.  You're welcome!
