2NE1 Is Actually Coming Back, For Real This Time

The official word is out!  YG Entertainment has finally released a teaser photo for 2NE1's much anticipated new single, "Falling In Love".

2NE1 is one of my few favorite girl groups, so I'm pretty danged excited.  Of course YG declined to let us know anything else about the song but, judging from this teaser image, we could very well be in for a beachy tribal theme.

Will we get slinky, sexy, haute couture 2NE1 like in the "I Love You" mv:


...or will we get hardcore girl power 2NE1 like "I Am The Best"?


That all remains to be seen on July 8th when "Falling In Love" is released.

Full Scans + Interview From G-Dragon's Incredible Vogue Korea 17th Anniversary Editorial

Ok I knew that G-Dragon 's editorial for Vogue Korea's 17th Anniversary would be amazing but these kind of exceeded my expectations.  I am in awe of the depth and clarity of Hong Jang Hyun 's photographs and of the stylist's vision.  The makeup artists did a great job too.  I'm not saying I like them more than I like GD's 2009 Vogue Korea editorial but they come pretty close, especially the first photos, which I'm calling "G-Dragon in high fashion grunge Rivendell" (where the elves lived in Lord of the Rings ?  No?  Alright, I'll admit I'm kind of a nerd).  Scroll down for scans of all 32 images and the full interview translation.  You're welcome!
