Videos of the Day: EXO- MAMA

I knew I had to write about these EXO MAMA videos as soon as I saw them.

Videos of the Day: My Favorite Korean Moms Are At It Again

I covered XX Dance School of Korea mom's class once before on this blog and here they are, slaying me once again with this totally adorable rendition of Shinee's Sherlock choreography.

JYJ's Junsu "Intoxication" in Chile (Fancam)

Fyi, I've never gotten into JYJ at all but this fancam might make me reconsider that.  Junsu is a piece of work, that's for sure.... I never even realized.  Loving how he's more into it, and better at it, than his dancers. Enjoy! Source:  macabelik I love how the 5000 seat concert was sold out and that everyone was singing to all their songs.  I bet they didn't expect that.  Maybe now other Kpop groups will head on over to South America. Video of the Day: f(x)- (Danger) Pinocchio

Today I felt like watching a video that was cute but not so sugary sweet that it gave me visual cavities.  Sugary sweetness is something that Kpop girl groups are usually famous for so I don't often find something I like in that respect. I pulled this video out of my faves because everything about the video is fun, from their styling (LOVE the outfits!) to the visuals, the intricate choreography and the song itself.  There's also really good shoe porn involved and we all know I love that. Enjoy! Source:  sment And look... someone took the time to screen cap and splice all their "standing in a room" outfits together so I could stare at their shoes and clothes.  How nice of them.  <Hugs> to you! Movement Lifestyle| Adventures with YG Entertainment

I don't know about you but I love dance as an art form.  I've loved to dance since I was little and I always wanted to be a dancer.  That dream didn't work out for me but I've continued to watch and support many forms of dance, especially hip hop dance and contemporary dance.  Dancing and watching great dancers perform moves me and feeds my soul.  Heck, my favorite show ever is So You Think You Can Dance.  I get heavily invested in each season and I've actually never missed a season. You might ask what that has to do with Kpop.  Well, as you might know, Kpop is a very visual medium and there's a lot of dancing involved; this is a big part of why I love Kpop so much.

Bang Yong Guk- I Remember

Really feeling this song right now.  Great video too.  When this song first came out I never even paid attention to it.  After B.A.P. went so hard with their debut, I had to go back and check out their previous side projects.  I'm glad I did! Source:  TSENT2008 ,  Image s ource:  allkpop Is it just me or does Bang Yong Guk's voice not sound somewhat like Ja Rule's voice?

Video of the Day: Jay Park- Know Your Name feat. Dok2

Ok firstly I just want to give MAJOR props to Jay Park for featuring a black woman in his Kpop video.  I don't think I've seen a black woman in any other Kpop video, and I'm not talking about just passing through or anything.  Judging from the comments on YouTube for this mv, people are happy to see it.  Secondly, this video and song are full of swag.  Go on with your bad self, Jay! What I love:  Everything about it, especially the multi-Jay Parks.  The choreography?  Bangin'. What I dislike:  Not a thing. Forget video of the day... I'm thinking video of my week! Also: 2/7/12 By: Ghostwriter Yesterday,  Jay Park  unleashed his  music video for ” Know Your Name “  from his new album, ‘ New Breed ‘! The album was officially launched through iTunes on February 7th and it has been performing well on the charts. As of this writing, “New Breed” is topping the R&B/Soul Chart on iTunes in the United States, Australia, and Canada. Source:  allkpop Congr

Video of the Day: EXO-K What is Love

Ok... I'll admit it.  There's been soooo many teasers for this EXO group that I got tired of waiting and was almost prepared to dislike them on principle.   Almost.   The first time I listened to this song I thought it sounded too much like "Before U Go" by TVXQ but that the two singers, Baek Hyun and D.O., sounded incredible.  The second time I listened to it I was kind of blown away.  Now I'm sitting here listening to it for the (looking away sheepishly) 7th time in a row and thinking that I'm glad that they already released it on Itunes. One of the producers for this song was Teddy Riley and you can definitely hear his influence in their cadence and tone and in the music. Source:  SMTOWN What I love:  The song...the singing...  The part at 1:46 when one of them belts out "I don't know why!"  Kills me everytime.  Also 3:57 because I didn't expect that voice to come out of that body.  The dancing is cute but minimal.  From all the dan

Video of the Day: B.A.P. Warrior

So B.A.P., short for Best Absolute Perfect, just debuted and posted their new mv, "Warrior", up on YouTube yesterday.  Can I just say how much I like this song?  What a great way to debut.  Their agency, TS Entertainment, didn't need to make 30248394 teasers (I'm side eyeing another well known entertainment agency that-shall-not be-named as I'm writing this).  Just release a good song with a good video and sit back and reap the benefits.

Videos of the Day: Korean Mom's Dance Cover Class vs. The Real Deal

Last month, in my wanderings through YouTube, I found these videos of this mother's dance class from XX Dance School in Korea.  These mothers do dance covers of Kpop songs and they are awesome. The reason why I enjoy these so much is because, if you look closely at the video, you'll notice these are older women doing these dance covers really well and having a great time doing it.  I'm jealous because I want to take a class just like this.  If anyone knows of a Kpop dance cover class in NJ, hook me up! Anyway, I'm including the dance cover video and then a video of the real Kpop group so you can contrast and compare if you so desire. Hope you enjoy as much as I did... Video of the Day: Rain Hip Song (fanmade mix)

I've been a bad girl.  I haven't posted much about my Kpop obsession Rain.  Sadly he's in the military right now (sniffle) so his fans haven't been treated to a barrage of almost daily news and pics and videos about him.  We miss him!  Well... I know I do.  So today I'm making up for being a bad Rain fangirl by drooling over his hotness a bit on my blog. The following is a fanmade compilation of his "Hip Song" April-May 2010 comeback stages, edited by LunaLuna. Enjoy!  I certainly did. Source:  eye0rain

Videos of the Day: Korean Hip Hop

I'm in the mood for some Korean hip hop today, which means I've got a little bit of everything for ya, from the commercial to the underground.  Enjoy!

Video of the Day: Teen Top Comeback

I'm looking forward to this: Source:  TeenzOnTop According to a message left on their fan cafe around December 24th, their new mini album will come out on January 5th.  Yata!!  Teen Top fighting!  I'm excited to post their comeback mv on here as soon as possible.

Video of the Day #2: 2AM Parodies Be My Baby

2am and the Wonder Girls Lollll @ this! 2am doing Kara's "Step" and Wonder Girl's "Be My Baby" during rehearsals for their Christmas concert. Hilarious! Source:  ibighit ,  Image source: allkpop  via Changmin's twitter I love how they're having so much fun doing this.  What cracked me up is how good they are at it and how they looked so serious until about 1:25 when Jinwoon (in orange) started being silly.  Changmin (in black) just looks too manly and muscular to be doing these steps but does it well anyway.  JoKwon (in white) is, as usual, doing those steps just perfectly.  He always makes me laugh when he does his  kkab ... heart him!  Seulong is good too.  They really do give good fan service, don't ya think? I think I'm definitely going to have to pay more attention to 2am in the future.

Video of the Day: Jay Park Star

Just saw Jay Park's new video for the song "Star" and I really like it a lot.  Make sure to watch in full screen 1080p for maximum cuteness factor. Enjoy! Source:  jaybumaom0425 What I love:  Well duhh... the dancing! Love Jay Park's musicality and moves... whoever choreographs his videos is extra good.  He also has the best crew dancing behind him and I could watch them dance all day.  I'm also liking the sets quite a bit.  It's not your typical Kpop set (side eyeing SM Entertainment right now) and it gives off a very warm vibe.   The song is also a well done American style RnB type slow jam and I have to say I'm loving the falsetto.  He's really good at seamlessly integrating that type of style into the Kpop world. What I find slightly amusing:  The "Oops!  I didn't know I had coffee foam on my lips... oh wait.. Are you kissing me?" scene.  Kinda awkwarrrrddd.  It was probably supposed to look sexy and cute but really he ended up

Video of the Day: Jay Park Star Teaser

Well really... teaser of the day. Just saw that this was posted up on Jay Park's YouTube page today and had to post it here so I could squee about it.  I'm quite excited that his new album "New Breed Part 1" will be coming out December 28th.  Cannot wait to see this whole video and hear the song!  Jay Park's dancing is just too good, PLUS he's a cutie... and he's looking all urban hotness in a fitted, a tee and baggy sweats.  :wipes brow: Source:  jaybumaom0425 Gah!

I couldn't resist posting both Dumbfoundead, Aziatix  and IAMMEDIC.  How could I when all 3 songs are so good?  They're also totally different so there's something for everyone.   Plus there's the added bonus of Eddie Shin.  :wipes drool: Dumbfoundead- Are We There Yet Source: dumbfoundead Aziatix- Slippin' Away Source: TheAziatix IAMMEDIC- Chasing Phantoms Source: IAMMEDICTV Oh what the heck...
