SHINee's single "
1000 Years, Always By Your Side" has officially been released, and with it comes the release of the B-side, "
The World Where You Exist".
SHINee has been on a roll this year. They've been performing all over the world and filming commercials and mvs, and releasing songs left and right. I guess they want to make sure you don't forget about them as 2013 approaches. SME and EMI Japan have done a good job with that by ensuring they release quality products, and this one is no different. I certainly won't be forgetting about them any time soon.
Take a listen to "The World Where You Exist":
I like this song a lot, even though it's got that incredibly lo-fi drum machine beginning. It's no "1000 Years" but the two songs together make a great single package. Maybe they'll even make a peppier video to contrast with the tear inducing A-side.
I'm looking forward to seeing what else SHINee has in store for us in December and especially in 2013. Korean comeback with awesome dancing please! But before that, I've got some really pretty pics for ya.
Don't forget, they've also released their Japan Arena tour today! Buy the single, dvd and photobook (region 2) here or just buy the single here. You can also get the First Japan Arena Tour SHINee World 2012 here for region 2 only.

Oh Minho... *sigh* <3
ReplyDeleteI really love this album concept... I think it suits them more than the Sherlock concept did.
Hi OddnessWeirdness, by the way! Love your blog! I'm hoping to interact more from now on :) *waves*
Hi there! You can call me Erika. I'm so glad you like the blog! :) Feel free to comment as much as you like coz I love it. I do read every comment and respond to pretty much all of them.
ReplyDeleteI have to say that I really enjoyed the absurdity of the Sherlock concept. It was an endless source of amazement/fun/squee-ing. Taemin's weave alone had me dying. This one is all nicely subdued and lovely on them, though, and they look great as always.
Hi Erika then! :D As you can probably tell from my name, I'm Kat :)
ReplyDeleteTrue... I did love the absurdity... But that hair on my Minho? No *shakes head* haha. The actual MV had amazing pieces, I just didn't like the album artwork!
Lollll oh gawd the hair! I screamed the first time I saw it, in a really uncomfortable horror/laughter combo. The worst. Plus Taemin's child porno poses and Onew's puffy bowl cut... Uuuggghhh. But so hilarious as well. That's another reason why I <3 them. They don't stand there looking awkward and annoyed like T-ara does when they don't like a concept, they just go with whatever craziness they're told to do and make it look good no matter what.
ReplyDeleteI remember you said didn't like (not really like) their jpn single but now ..... kekekekeke
ReplyDeleteI love this song, actually I love all their songs, i just hope they make the MV for this song with snow melt in sunrise and *crossfinger*
Lol apparently I lied. I should've said that I didn't like their Japanese remakes of songs like Replay. I like the more mature Shinee that they're portraying in this promotional cycle. I hope they keep it up for their Korean comeback, but with faster songs.
DeleteHaha! The awkward poses, the horrible hair and the clothes/lack of clothes! All of it! *shudder* Of course I still bought the photobook album (naturally) but it sits carefully behind the others :P You're right though, they certainly put in their best effort to go with the concept. Happy SHINee :)
ReplyDeleteOoh! You've bought their album? Nice! I can never convince myself to do that but I did go to Korea town in NYC and saw some of the packaging first hand. Kpop CDs go all out that's for sure. They're gorgeous. I saw this JYJ photo book that was HUGE and insanely expensive but so beautifully done. I don't even like JYJ but I still had to goggle at it. U.S. artists need to pay attention to Kpop just for that reason... They're missing out on some money.
