Video of the Day: The Koxx's "Love Dance"

I'm interrupting my regularly scheduled programming to spazz over an mv that is not your typical Kpop.  This mv and song skews more towards alternative than anything else I've featured on this blog.  This song is actually a lot closer to the type of music I mainly listened to, before Kpop took over my life.  The band is called The Koxx and the song is "Love Dance".  Check it out:






I tracked down bit of info on The Koxx.  They are a self-proclaimed electro/garage rock band that is considered one of the more popular and succesful indie acts in South Korea.  They often play in venues in Hongdae, and tour different Asian cities as well.  They even actually play their own instruments and write their own songs!  Shocking.  
Their site is TheKoxx and so far I noticed that most of it has also been translated into English, which is really cool.   You can also check them out at their Facebook page or their Twitter.

Full Scans + Interview From G-Dragon's Incredible Vogue Korea 17th Anniversary Editorial

Ok I knew that G-Dragon 's editorial for Vogue Korea's 17th Anniversary would be amazing but these kind of exceeded my expectations.  I am in awe of the depth and clarity of Hong Jang Hyun 's photographs and of the stylist's vision.  The makeup artists did a great job too.  I'm not saying I like them more than I like GD's 2009 Vogue Korea editorial but they come pretty close, especially the first photos, which I'm calling "G-Dragon in high fashion grunge Rivendell" (where the elves lived in Lord of the Rings ?  No?  Alright, I'll admit I'm kind of a nerd).  Scroll down for scans of all 32 images and the full interview translation.  You're welcome!
