...and they haven't even released their album yet. Craziness. I told myself yesterday that I was going to relax on the Big Bang posts for a bit because I was starting to feel like a Big Bang fansite, not that that's a bad thing. THEN... they release something like this: "Bad Boy" teaser- Source: BIGBANG
It's true.... The members of EXO-K and EXO-M are ALWAYS at the airport. I'm never sure where they're going or what they're going to be doing when they get there, but I'm forever seeing the pics. There's often some major fashion moments taking place in these pics; some good, some bad but always notable. Enjoy: This post is image heavy
It has come to my attention that people are confused as hell about EXO 's " Wolf " and " Growl " drama version MVs, and have been since they came out. Well, it's your lucky day, because I'm here to explain the shit out of them for you, in the way I know best: I'm going to tell you a little story. Fyi, this will be done in two parts, so bear with me.
The one and only G-Dragon's "One of a Kind" mv came out today and I am in lurve. It's everything I could have wanted it to be. It was brash, filled with swagger and unique fashion. In other words, all kinds of good. Check it out here:
Say what you will about GD, but this man knows how to make music and he knows how to market himself. He didn't need to spend tons of money on a million teasers. All he did was open a Twitter account and send out some tweets and pics and one mv teaser. That's it. The result? 859,846 views and counting. That's just in one day. He also opened an official Facebook page today and as of right this second he has 408,000 likes. Pretty smart YG Ent... pretty smart. Let social media do your work for you. Gotta love it.
As for the video and song, I really like almost everything about it. It's got some old school hip hop swag with some new school hipster flair, which works for him. The "One of a Kind" mv reminds me somewhat of GD & T.O.P's "Knockout" mv in that the set designs are similar and it's chock full of crazy fashion and distinctive visuals. The only thing I disliked was the amount of make up GD had on. It looks like a tan mask... not cute.
Giyongchi? Good one. 5'8" and 127 lbs?? Damnnn dude!
As for the fashion, let's just say GD went all in, as usual. He's all designered out. There's Roberto Cavalli:
The tee and pants are Chrome Hearts, as well as what looks like mostly all the jewelry in the mv. Please don't be fooled by online sites claiming to sell authentic Chrome Hearts. So far I've found that the real deal is mostly sold in their own boutiques around the world.
As you can see, I'm very enthused about this video. I'll definitely post more fashion finds as I encounter them. All I can say is that now I can't wait for the album to be released. GD has a lot to live up to, because "Heartbreaker" was epic, but I have a feeling this one will be good too.
Those are great screenshots! Taeyang in the foreground with tiny GD in the background totally reminds me of "Knockout"! A little smaller and he could fit in the palm of Taeyang's hand...

SHINee was on KBS's Music Bank today for the show's 700th Anniversary Special . The boys performed a special stage of their forever classic " Replay ", along with " Why So Serious? " and if you haven't at least watched the "Replay" stage, you should. Take a look:

ReplyDeleteLol totally... I hadn't even thought of that. That's one of my fave parts from the Knockout mv.
