Oddness/Weirdness

It's been a whole 4 days since I've posted anything, which is kind of crazy.  It's just been that kind of week, what with me going to the November 9th Big Bang Alive concert in Newark, NJ and all. Let me just get this out of the way first:  It was INCREDIBLE!!  I had SO much fun!  I got to see them all close up and almost personal and stuff... it was fabulous. Now on with the goodies! I bet European VIPs are freaking out as we speak, because it was announced earlier this morning that Big Bang would be holding an Alive Tour concert in London's Wembley Arena.

Today I felt like giving myself a preview of the upcoming Big Bang concerts in New Jersey with some excellent fancams from their Alive Tour Singapore 2012 concerts.  These concerts took place on September 28 and 29 and, from the looks of things, were full of awesome. Heard the great news yet?  Big Bang just announced that they added two more concert dates to their sold out U.S. Alive Galaxy Tour concert dates!

Well damn... this took forever!  Ticket sale dates for Big Bang's Alive Galaxy Tour in the U.S. were FINALLY announced via Powerhouse Live last night and I'm like, flipping tables in excitement.  Well, really I'm only doing that internally.  Read on:

The newest and biggest scandal in the world of Kpop involves Big Bang's Seungri and it's a doozy.

I decided I'd find an older Big Bang editorial to post in honor of G-Dragon's comeback; before it becomes all GD, all the time up in here (exaggerating... a little bit).  Boy did I find a good one.  I'd seen a couple of the G-Dragon pics around and about but I had never seen the whole thing.  I also hadn't realized this editorial was photographed by Terry Richardson (ugh) or that the whole group was featured in it.  Well, I was in for a treat and so will you, if you haven't seen it before. Some highlights: GD's nipples... Welll, his whole outfit.  Seungri's pants (!!), and Daesung??  Damnnn.  This also features T.O.P before he did whatever he did to his face.  Maybe it's his eyebrows??  You tell me.

There have been so many videos to put up this past week; it's kinda crazy.  I usually never find this many videos to fangirl over in this short of a time frame.  Well, I have one more to talk about and that is PSY's "Gangnam Style". I am late to this bandwagon because I just watched the mv the other day but I'm here to tell you that if you haven't watched it yet, you are missing out.  Random non-Kpop related celebrities and people of note have taken to tweeting and talking about this video.  More on that in a bit.  First, check out oppa 's "Gangnam Style" and see if you can spot Big Bang's Daesung and Seungri and 4Minute's Hyuna.

Damn there's been some good videos this week.  So many to share, so little time! First off, I'm starting with the awesome-ness that is the video that Big Bang's Seungri just recently tweeted.

I'll just start by saying I'm really not a fan of this performance at all.  Not. At. All. Daesung and Seungri: "I can't believe we're doing this."

Once again life happened and rendered me incapable of working on this blog, aka tired as heck.  That's what happens when you are super busy at work and you had 2 days off in the past 2 weeks.  No bueno.  But enough whining.  On with this super, SUPER late post that I promised ages ago here  (yes that was  over a month ago... shame on moi): Big Bang has obviously been killing it left and right for the past few months.  They released the Alive album and had a phenomenal comeback.  They just released their "Monster" album, which I am about to go download in a hot second, and I'm sure they'll be blasting up the charts and rolling in the $$$ with this one too.   Big Bang's style during the Alive promotional cycle was a mixture of '80s and '90s references, dyed hair pieces and some crazy, with a dash of wtf thrown in for good measure but I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it.  I'm all for some craziness and wtf-ery in an idol's sartorial choic

I've been out of the loop for the past few days because real life intervened.  I actually had to work... Gasp!!  I mean, one must have a job, mustn't one??  Anyway, those hours were long as hell and I've been too tired to even look at my computer, much less turn it on.  Times like these is when I really consider buying a laptop. While I was working my butt off, Big Bang just woke up and decided to release a repackage of their Alive album and call it Still Alive or Alive-Monster Edition.  The new album will include five new tracks, which are called "Still Alive", "Bingle Bingle", "Feeling", "Ego" and "Monster". They're releasing digitally on June 3rd, with the album coming out on June 6th.  They seem to be going all out with their teasers for the song "Monster", like YG likes to do.  Be sure to scroll down and check out G-Dragon's "Monster" mv teaser that was released earlier today, as well as T.

I just saw this on my friend Stormy's blog and immediately had to repost it.  It's Big Bang jamming to "Bad Boy" with their live band in rehearsals for their Alive concert.  This looks like so much fun!  I wish I could have been there.

I'll be posting a Big Bang "Alive" Comeback: Idol Style soon because I've been fascinated by Big Bang's Fantastic Baby and Bad Boy comeback style. Gifs:  gd-vamp@tumblr Their stylists have mostly done a great job outfitting them in fun and unique stuff, especially in this last early '90s inspired Inkigayo Bad Boy performance.  I've been enjoying the heck out of their clothing choices, and my favorite so far has been how they single-handedly brought back (ok... Big Bang has released their mv for "Blue" and I am in lurrrve.  The styling is on point, as usual, and they showcase the angst and gloom of a New York spring day perfectly. Check out that NYC skyline in the video...

Big Bang 's comeback is edging ever nearer and YG entertainment is releasing teasers left and right.  They won't leave us hanging indefinitely though, because they actually set a date for their mini-album release. According to  Allkpop ,  Big Bang will release the song “ Blue ” first on February 22nd, ahead of their actual " Alive " mini-album release on the 29th.   Enjoy Taeyang , G-Dragon and Seungri 's teasers, the track list and a teaser video:
