UPDATED: Punk's Not Dead: Taeyang For Elle Korea's November Issue

Big Bang's Taeyang will be releasing his much anticipated new album, " New World " on November 8th (supposedly), three years after 2010's " Solar ".  He's certainly done a lot of changing since then, and this photo shoot is proof that the 2010 version of Taeyang is long gone. As of today YG has announced that this new album is a total departure from his usual style .  While that is no big surprise, I'm really interested to know what direction he went in and to see how well it will work for him.  Good luck, Taeyang!  Hopefully you won't need it, but I'm thinking you might. Edited to add: Full English trans of the interview + Unseen pics from the photoshoot.

Big Bang's T.O.P Is Suave For L'Officiel Hommes' November Issue + Interview

Big Bang's T.O.P ,   aka Choi Seung Hyun , is currently being featured all over the Korean media for his role in the upcoming movie The Commitment , which is great for us because we'll get to see a lot of his beautiful face in the upcoming months.  Take a look at his editorial for L'Officiel Hommes in which he is all suave and studly, and then scroll down some more for the interview with English translation.

UPDATED: SHINee is Grown And Sexy For Arena Homme+'s October Issue

The boys  men of SHINee are set to cover the October issue of Korea's Arena Homme+ magazine.  They've been featured in many magazines over the years, but this time they're special enough to warrant 5 separate covers for each member.  How fabulous is that?  I'm crossing my fingers that this dark and sexy editorial is a foreshadowing of the concept for their rumored Korean comeback, because this One Direction-ish " Boys Meet U " nonsense has got to go. UPDATED:  With official HQ cover scans and all interviews except Key's. ( Key 's pic goes first because it's still his birthday in the U.S.  Happy Birthday Key!) The following are all the images and interviews that are available so far.

G-Dragon's Vogue Korea 17th Anniversary BTS Feat. Kim Sung Hee

Vogue Korea has released what is probably the last BTS video from their G-Dragon 17th Anniversary photo shoot.  This one features Korean supermodel Kim Sung Hee or, as people in other parts of the world probably know her, Sung Hee Kim .

Vogue Korea's BTS Of G-Dragon With Park Ji Hye: "Swing Time"

Vogue Korea just posted a new G-Dragon 17th Anniversary issue bts video to their YouTube page, this time with supermodel Park Ji Hye .  Have a look:

Full Scans + Interview From G-Dragon's Incredible Vogue Korea 17th Anniversary Editorial

Ok I knew that G-Dragon 's editorial for Vogue Korea's 17th Anniversary would be amazing but these kind of exceeded my expectations.  I am in awe of the depth and clarity of Hong Jang Hyun 's photographs and of the stylist's vision.  The makeup artists did a great job too.  I'm not saying I like them more than I like GD's 2009 Vogue Korea editorial but they come pretty close, especially the first photos, which I'm calling "G-Dragon in high fashion grunge Rivendell" (where the elves lived in Lord of the Rings ?  No?  Alright, I'll admit I'm kind of a nerd).  Scroll down for scans of all 32 images and the full interview translation.  You're welcome!

Vogue Korea Releases A G-Dragon x Soo Joo "Black Twins" BTS

Even more previews of Vogue Korea's 17th anniversary issue have been released today, and this time it's a BTS video featuring G-Dragon and Soo Joo called " Black Twins ".  Watch below and then scroll down for some boho-grunge-this-is-my-rock-n-roll-life screencaps.

Another G-Dragon Vogue Korea 17th Anniversary Preview

Another preview of G-Dragon 's editorial for Vogue Korea's 17th Anniversary issue   was leaked today and, while I knew it was going to be good, I didn't know they were aiming for spectacular.  I should have known after this! Behold... shirtless bohemian rocker god GD:

G-Dragon To Cover Vogue Korea's 17th Anniversary Issue

Lovers of G-Dragon 's fashion rejoice, because the man himself will be featured on the cover of Vogue Korea's 17th Anniversary issue .  You'll need to get your $$ ready once again, since there will be not one, not two, but THREE different covers for this hotly anticipated Vogue issue.

G-Dragon Is A Haute Mad Scientist In Cosmopolitan's July Issue

G-Dragon recently teamed up with Glaceu Vitamin Water to be their most recent spokesperson and has already released a series of commercials for the brand.  Next up for GD ?  A Cosmopolitan   Magazine spread (and interview) featuring him as what I take to be a mad scientist, cooking up some of that good old Vitamin Water.

Jay Park Releases A Free Track, Is Full Of Win

My love affair with Jay Park continues, because today he tweeted a new totally FREE track, appropriately called " 2013 Appetizer ".  I'm just going to leave this here:

FTISLAND Werq It Out In Wiglets For L'Officiel Hommes November Issue

Ahh fashion... how I have missed thee.  I seriously have missed blogging about fashion, even though I've kind of gone away from that in the past month or more.  I will be getting back into the swing of things in January, which is when I'll have more time to focus on blogging. I've got some airport style and Fashion Finds posts in the works, which I haven't done in awhile.  I've also got to do an Idol Style post... it's been a long time since I did one of those . But I digress.  To get me back into the swing of things here's those cuties from FTISLAND, who were featured in the November 2012 issue of L'Officiel Hommes.  They want you to know that they are  so  not afraid to do the dapper '70s gentleman thing while wearing a wiglet or two.  WERQ it, bishes!

SHINee's Jonghyun and Key Are Flirty and Coy For Jille Magazine + Interview (Eng Trans)

For awhile there you might have thought that JongKey was no more but they've recently been all over each other again.  I've seen some handsy fancams from the last SHINee World II concert and they've been super flirty and touch-y in World Date With SHINee.  Well now they're taking it even further in the January 2013 issue of Jille magazine.

G-Dragon Does an Interview for XXL Magazine

When Big Bang was on the East Coast of the U.S. for their Alive Tour concerts, G-Dragon sat down with XXL, a very popular urban culture/rap magazine. Being written up in XXL mag is a big deal for any rapper, much less a Kpop artist.  You can imagine how big of a deal it would be for GD, even if said artist is one of the most popular in the Kpop genre.  When you do a search for Kpop on XXL's site, 4 articles come up and this is the only one that's an actual interview.  Yeah... I'm excited. It's such a great article.  There are definitely some really interesting things that are revealed and it seems like GD was very honest throughout, and quite a bit more open than he would be for a Korean magazine. Read on and then leave me a comment.  I'm curious to know what you think.

Here's A Preview of G-Dragon x Ambush for GQ Korea

G-Dragon will be featured in the November 2012 issue of GQ Korea , where he'll be rocking some Ambush pieces.  If you remember correctly, GD collaborated with Ambush jewelry for their "Screw It" line.  He also ended up wearing quite a few Ambush pieces in the " Crayon " mv .  In the article GD mentioned that he would like to start his own fashion brand in the future, which I think would be a logical endeavor for him. Take a look at the pics after the link and be sure to check back soon for the article with English subs.

G-Dragon For 10Asia: GD's Joker Card Part 1 & 2

G-Dragon sat down for another excellent interview with 10Asia magazine on September 20th of this year and, as usual ,it's a must read for fans of GD.  In it, he talks about the One of a Kind album and is asked some hard hitting questions.

G-Dragon for Commons&Sense Man Magazine

G-Dragon will be featured on (and in) the upcoming issue of Japanese fashion magazine commons&sense man, or issue # 13 as they call it.  Check out the gorgeous pics they put up on their site.

G-Dragon Wears the Hell Out of a Man-Skirt For Harper's Bazaar Korea

As mentioned in my last post , G-Dragon graced us with a beauteous spread for Harper's Bazaar Korea August Issue.  Sadly, all we (mostly) get gracing our magazines here in the U.S. are (mostly) boring old emaciated actresses and models.   I've posted about GD in a skirt before , because he certainly wears them well.  What do you think?

Preview of G-Dragon for Harper's Bazaar Korea

Of course I'm all hyped for this 16 page spread in Harper's Bazaar Korea August issue that G-Dragon will be appearing in.  These pics are incredible, right?  Now we know why GD was really in Paris.

Another G-Dragon "Controversy": G-Dragon's 10Asia Interview

I read a comment that G-Dragon allegedly said this morning that kind of pissed me off.  I decided to read the article before I jumped to conclusions and figured I'd also post it here.  I'm not an impressionable youngster so I've learned to temper my reactions to things and read before opening my mouth, or wielding my keyboard, as it were.
