...and they haven't even released their album yet. Craziness. I told myself yesterday that I was going to relax on the Big Bang posts for a bit because I was starting to feel like a Big Bang fansite, not that that's a bad thing. THEN... they release something like this: "Bad Boy" teaser- Source: BIGBANG
It's true.... The members of EXO-K and EXO-M are ALWAYS at the airport. I'm never sure where they're going or what they're going to be doing when they get there, but I'm forever seeing the pics. There's often some major fashion moments taking place in these pics; some good, some bad but always notable. Enjoy: This post is image heavy
It has come to my attention that people are confused as hell about EXO 's " Wolf " and " Growl " drama version MVs, and have been since they came out. Well, it's your lucky day, because I'm here to explain the shit out of them for you, in the way I know best: I'm going to tell you a little story. Fyi, this will be done in two parts, so bear with me.
If you didn't know, OTP = One True Pairing, meaning your favorite combo of a pairing in a fandom. The only fave I have is one that's probably pretty obvious if you've read through this blog at any time. That would be Jonghyun and Key from Shinee, aka JongKey.
Jonghyun and Key have been bffs since before they debuted so they've always been super close.
They're always hugging,
and holding hands,
and playing around,
Key and Jonghyun at Heathrow airport as Kate Middleton and Prince William
and Jonghyun is forever whispering to Key
Amongst other things.
So I know what most of you Kpop fans are gonna say. You're gonna say that it's all fan service. That it's different in South Korea and guys are more free to be touchy feely there than they are here. Yeah, I get it... I've been watching a lot of the same stuff you have. There is just something about Jonghyun and Key's interactions with each other that make me think there could really be something between them. But hey... you be the judge.
Pepero fan service:

Wellll... it's a looonnngg story actually but there's a thing called fan service in Kpop. This is where members of a group do something to please the fans, which could be anything from dancing to a girl group song to showing off their body to kissing another of their fellow group members.
Here's a better explanation than I could give in this comment: http://cookiesbeautyblog.wordpress.com/2011/06/15/k-pop-newbie-fan-service-and-being-a-fan/
Here's a bit about skinship: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=skinship
Needless to say I was quite confused for a long while when I first got into Kpop, lol. The reason why I said what I said in this post is that JongKey take fanservice and skinship to the next level, even when they don't know that they're being filmed. So lots of Shinee fans, myself included, think there's a lot more going on than just fanservice.
Key pings my gaydar really hard and I feel that even though he can't come out, he has other ways of showing what he's about. He says stuff like this in interviews: "I can’t hide who I am. I can’t say things I don’t mean, say that I like things I hate, or that I hate things I like. And more than anything, I can’t lie to myself. Rather than dwelling upon things I can’t change, I’d rather develop the good things about me. So my dream isn’t to become the 'best', it’s to become someone I’m not ashamed to be." Sooo yeah... he's my favorite. :)
Ah, thank you, I didn't know about the fan service thing at all. Reminds me a bit of Tatu then. Although my gaydar always told me that Yulia was gay, or at least bi, and it seems I was right. ;)
Well if Jonghyun and Key aren't gay, they are damn good actors. :D

SHINee was on KBS's Music Bank today for the show's 700th Anniversary Special . The boys performed a special stage of their forever classic " Replay ", along with " Why So Serious? " and if you haven't at least watched the "Replay" stage, you should. Take a look:
awwww. they're so cute!!!
ReplyDeleteThe make a great couple, and I love how they don't give a damn!
