Seungri, G-Dragon And Taeyang Make My Day On SBS's Inkigayo 130915

All the cute, guys, all the cute!  That's all I could think today as I watched the videos and fancams from G-Dragon and Seungri 's (featuring special guest Taeyang ) Inkigayo appearance today.  GD has looked super happy recently, and I swear part of it has to do with the fact that he's been promoting alongside Seungri. RiRi sure does bring out GD's silly side, which is a good thing because he was starting to depress me a bit with all that "I look exhausted" business.  It's also quite nice to see him not try to look cool and chic once in awhile, so I was doubly sad to hear that today was Seungri's goodbye stage. Alright guys, so many videos and pics to look at!  Get started below:

G-Dragon Makes His First Coup D'etat Comeback Stage On Inkigayo

Hey there people!  I'm still around, I'm just taking a short break.  You know I'm all about the G to the D so I had to come back to post about G-Dragon's first Coup D'etat comeback stage on (of course) SBS's Inkigayo .  Watch his performances below:

Video of the Day: G-Dragon's "Crooked" + Lyrics

The second part to G-Dragon 's epic opus, " Coup D'etat ", has been let loose into the world tonight, and along with that came a new mv.  This one, called " Crooked ", is obviously the video that GD was filming all over London last month.  In it G-Dragon plays the epitome of that descriptive phrase "mad, bad and dangerous to know", and he plays it to the hilt.  Watch:

Video of the Day: G-Dragon's "Coup D'etat" + Lyrics And A Playlist

"People The revolution will not be televised The revolution is in your mind The revolution is here" G-Dragon  is back, and he's just released the mv for his revolutionary new song, " Coup D'etat ", as well as part 1 of the album.  Yes I said part 1.  We'll get into that later.  Have you seen the mv yet?  I had to watch it a few times just to get my thoughts together, so let's watch it again:

G-Dragon At KCON Day 2: Fancams And Pics + "Niliria" Feat. Missy Elliot

G-Dragon Greets The Fans At KCON 2013, Twitter Goes Beserk

KCON is taking place as we speak in California at the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena where, through Sunday, some lucky fans will get to rub shoulders  with some of their favorite Kpop celebs.  Stars like EXO , 2AM , f(x) , Teen Top and more are attending this event but it is my belief that the luckiest fans are the ones that get to see the one and only G-Dragon . The "Oh So THAT'S What You Were Doing" Edition: G-Dragon's 2nd Album "Coup D'etat" Teaser

By now you've probably watched the teaser for G-Dragon 's 2nd solo album, which is called " coup d'etat " and uttered a long drawn out, "Ohhhhhhhh ohhhkayyyy".  You might have even heaved a little sigh of relief, even as you marveled at the extent of GD's (or his art director's) genius imagery.  That's what I did, anyway, because today was the day the whole G-Dragon blackface controversy was finally laid to rest.

News Of The Week: G-Dragon Films A New MV In London, INFINITE Kicks Off Their World Tour, EXO Fans Banned From Inkigayo And More

I've been planning to do a weekly recap on the blog for awhile now but never got around to it.  Welp, here I am finally doing one!  I know this is last week's news but I've gotta start somewhere, so here goes. Check out my inaugural "News Of The Week" post.  These posts will consist of a recap of things I found to be really interesting that happened during the week, but didn't neccessarily blog about.  Let me know whether you'd like to see more of these in the comments below.

Kpop WTF: G-Dragon's Blackface Controversy

Editor's Note: This post was not written to bash G-Dragon.  This post was written out of my frustration with GD and YG Entertainment and the way that they handled this issue.  Please read the whole post + this post written after GD's Coup D'etat teaser video came out before you make a comment.   On July 30th G-Dragon posted a picture to his Instagram account that has proven to be very controversial.  That would be this pic here, in which he's got a face full of black paint:

G-Dragon's Vogue Korea 17th Anniversary BTS Feat. Kim Sung Hee

Vogue Korea has released what is probably the last BTS video from their G-Dragon 17th Anniversary photo shoot.  This one features Korean supermodel Kim Sung Hee or, as people in other parts of the world probably know her, Sung Hee Kim .

Vogue Korea's BTS Of G-Dragon With Park Ji Hye: "Swing Time"

Vogue Korea just posted a new G-Dragon 17th Anniversary issue bts video to their YouTube page, this time with supermodel Park Ji Hye .  Have a look:

Full Scans + Interview From G-Dragon's Incredible Vogue Korea 17th Anniversary Editorial

Ok I knew that G-Dragon 's editorial for Vogue Korea's 17th Anniversary would be amazing but these kind of exceeded my expectations.  I am in awe of the depth and clarity of Hong Jang Hyun 's photographs and of the stylist's vision.  The makeup artists did a great job too.  I'm not saying I like them more than I like GD's 2009 Vogue Korea editorial but they come pretty close, especially the first photos, which I'm calling "G-Dragon in high fashion grunge Rivendell" (where the elves lived in Lord of the Rings ?  No?  Alright, I'll admit I'm kind of a nerd).  Scroll down for scans of all 32 images and the full interview translation.  You're welcome!

Vogue Korea Releases A G-Dragon x Soo Joo "Black Twins" BTS

Even more previews of Vogue Korea's 17th anniversary issue have been released today, and this time it's a BTS video featuring G-Dragon and Soo Joo called " Black Twins ".  Watch below and then scroll down for some boho-grunge-this-is-my-rock-n-roll-life screencaps.

Another G-Dragon Vogue Korea 17th Anniversary Preview

Another preview of G-Dragon 's editorial for Vogue Korea's 17th Anniversary issue   was leaked today and, while I knew it was going to be good, I didn't know they were aiming for spectacular.  I should have known after this! Behold... shirtless bohemian rocker god GD:

G-Dragon To Cover Vogue Korea's 17th Anniversary Issue

Lovers of G-Dragon 's fashion rejoice, because the man himself will be featured on the cover of Vogue Korea's 17th Anniversary issue .  You'll need to get your $$ ready once again, since there will be not one, not two, but THREE different covers for this hotly anticipated Vogue issue.

Kpop WTF: G-Dragon To Release Another Album In August, But Where's Taeyang's?

YG Entertainment 's CEO, Mr. Yang Hyun Suk himself, has recently taken to the YG-Life blog to expound on what's going to be going on with YG artists for the 2nd half of 2013.  On the 25th he dropped some G-Dragon knowledge that has sent Kpop fans into a tizzy, but where's the news on Taeyang 's new album?  That's what I really want to know.

Fashion DON'T: G-Dragon's Japan To Korea Airport Style 130619

I'm usually fawning over G-Dragon's style on this blog but today I had to take a step back and wonder what the hell he was thinking when he woke up and chose his outfit for the day.  This outfit looks like a hodgepodge of pieces thrown on just to have something to cover his body, but you know what?  I'm quite sure he picked each piece for maximum effect.  Behold G-Dragon's airport style for today, as he came back from Japan:
